Drivers - Please Read & Understand This Penalty System

This Penalty System is intended to improve the quality of racing with FSR.  We need to be fair and just in every penalty that is handed out by the committee, have the same penalty for the same infraction.  This System will help keep those drivers that have a hard time with car control out of the top tier of FSR, the Cup Series.  Hopefully those drivers that are doing it right out there will not be “penalized” any longer by someone who has not had the respect for his fellow driver to practice a particular track and know what the setup is going to do in different situations.

Here is the Penalty system for common infractions; once we come across different circumstances and other penalties are handed out they will be added to this list to keep everything fair.

TEAM POINT PENALTIES - CUP SERIES
* 1st Admin Imposed BF Penalty (-10 Team Points)
* 2nd Admin Imposed BF Penalty (-20 Team Points)
* 3rd Admin Imposed BF Penalty (-30 Team Points)
* Under 10 To Go Admin Imposed Penalty (-20 Team Points / If 1st Penalty)
* Under 10 To Go Admin Imposed Penalty (-40 Team Points / If 2nd Penalty)
* Under 10 To Go Admin Imposed Penalty (-60 Team Points / If 3rd Penalty)
* Anything deemed INTENTIONAL by Race Officials and/or Administrator during ANY Series Event by ANY driver on a Team. Automatic Suspension of Entire Team, 1 week minimum, 2500 Team Point Deduction

INDIVIDUAL & TEAM POINT PENALTIES - ALL SERIES
* Drivers that show as DISCO, RETIRED or RUNNING but have not been parked by Officials, will ONLY receive 1/2 Individual & Team Points (Posted July 31st, 2008 - 3pm EST)
*Pit Line Enrtrance/Exit Penalty After Race Completion (-1 Lap Plus Penalty Points)
** TOP 5 TRANSFER DRIVERS(NWS) THAT DECIDE NOT TO RACE IN THE CUP SERIES FOR WHATEVER REASON - THEIR TEAM DEDUCTION WILL BE 30 POINTS - NO INDIVIDUAL POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED **

CHAT RULES - ALL SERIES
* All Drivers must ONLY Use FSReal-Racing Ventrilo During FSReal-Racing Events Unless Otherwise Stated (Ventrilo Uses Less Process's & Memory Which Equates To Better Connection For Everyone....Care About Your Fellow Competitor) Penalty - All Team members will be Ejected From Server, Suspended For 1 Week & 1000 Team Point Deduction
* Minimize Ventrilo Voice Chat Screen Before Entering Race
* No Chat During Qualifying, This Includes Keyboard or Voice Chat.
* Race AutoChat Only During Green Flag Racing (Example: Pitting, Exiting Pit, Pass Low)
* NO CHAT 1st LAP OF CAUTION or 1 TO GO - ADMINS ONLY - PENALTIES MAY INCLUDE EJECTION
* Minimal Chat (Keyboard & Voice Chat) During Pace Laps & Caution Laps – Cursing & Flaming Will Bring Immediate EJECTION or PENALTIES From Race Administrators – No Exceptions!
* Ventrilo Voice Chat Recommended For Entering Pits (Not Exiting) - Green Flag Racing ONLY - State Car # & PITTING - This Should Be Done With Adequate Time For Drivers Behind You. After Voice Chat is verbally given, make sure to display autochat twice
* Any driver that ARGUES any call from Race Officials will be EJECTED from server along with Ventrilo.
* No driver at any time will approach a Race Official during or after a Series Event. Any driver with any concern must contact thru email or on Ventrilo
* ANY DRIVER EJECTED FROM ANY RACE WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR THE PERIOD OF ONE WEEK along with possible Individual AND Team Penalties
Strategy Chat or any Derogatory comments will incur BF penalty, Ejection(0 Ind Race Points, 0 Team Points), Point Deduction both Individual(-45) & Team(-25)

Subject to FSR Administrator, more severe penalties may be handed down including removal from the organization, additional Individual and/or Team penalties.

## If a driver is CONFIRMED WARPING he will NOT pass on the inside until connection issues settle down, this must also be confirmed.  At least 2 or more drivers OR Race Officials must confirm this AND it must be a consistant side to side warp.....NOT an occasional blip. Penalty for disregarding CONFIRMATION can include, BLACK FLAG or EJECTION from current race. CONFIRMED WARPING drivers that do not abide by NO PASSING TO INSIDE and cause an incident, series points will be deducted as if it was UNDER 10 penalty. It is the responsibility of any CONFIRMED WARPING DRIVER to get confirmation that he is NO LONGER WARPING. He will then be allowed to pass to the inside again.

Points@Penalty  These incidents may be reviewed by the Admin, depending on the severity of the incident MUCH harsher penalties may be handed down, including Series points taken away.

After Series Events, ALL drivers with questions concerning their race will get with the Administrator of FSReal-Racing. Any driver contacting a Race Official after their Series Event will be penalized(points) OR suspended

In addition to this, we will have a penalty point system.  With this system if you are found guilty of any of the above instances you will be assessed SEASON POINT PENALTY DEDUCTIONS. 

At the end of each half season, ALL Cup Series incidents & series penalty points will be removed from each individual driver before the Half Season Qualifying race takes place to ADD another driver to the Cup Series Championship Race held at the end of both season's.

The FSR Admin will officially hand down the penalties.

If there is a protest to a penalty handed down it is the drivers responsibility to send an email to the FSR Administrator( administrator@fsrealracing.com ) his replay of the race penalty.  We will need the 1 lap before the incident and the 1 lap after the incident.  Once this is received the ADMIN will re-evaluate the incident.  A review will cost $10 Plus 100 Individual Series Points per incident protested, if your penalty is overturned through your protest no points will be deducted, however if you are still found at fault for the penalty you still receive your original penalty and forfeit your 100 Individual Series Points per incident protested.  Protest must be made by 12 midnight EST, 2 days after Penalty is posted.  If NO Protest is made in this time frame,  ALL PENALTIES WILL STAND.
